Joseph Vincent Tulipani, 63, of Ridgefield, died on Sunday, March 31, 2013 at Danbury Hospital.

A son of the late Joseph A. and Annie (Marconi) Tulipani, Vinnie was born in Danbury on August 25, 1949 and was raised in Ridgefield where he attended St. Mary Parochial School and graduated from Ridgefield High School.

In early years, Vinnie was employed with the former Brunetti’s Market of Ridgefield.  He then became a machine operator for his late uncle, Nano Marconi and later established KT Construction Co.

He was a member of St. Mary Parish, Ridgefield.

Vinnie is survived by a brother, James A. Tulipani, his wife, Ilza and their son, James all of Ridgefield and 22 first cousins including, Linda Rose and Ridgefield First Selectman Rudy Marconi.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, April 4, 2013 at 10:15 am in St. Mary Church, Ridgefield.  Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, Ridgefield.

The family will be received in the Kane Funeral Home, 25 Catoonah St., Ridgefield on Wednesday from 5 pm to 8 pm.

In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Ridgefield Fire Dept. Ambulance Fund, 6 Catoonah St., Ridgefield 06877 would be appreciated.
