The Tigers had 153 points to edge eighth-place Fairfield Warde/Ludlowe by one point.
Senior captain Patrick Maguire had Ridgefield’s best finish as he placed second in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 48.91 seconds. Sherman Lau of Norwalk was first in 48.29.
Maguire added a ninth-place finish in the 50 freestyle with a time of 22.71.
Returning from a broken wrist, Benjamin Nussbaum also qualified for a championship heat (top eight from trials) and finished seventh in the 500 freestyle in 4:55.57.
Nussbaum contributed more points by finishing 11th in the 200 freestyle (1:50.14).
Chris Myers and Cal Dearth also scored points (top 16) in two events apiece. Myers was ninth in the 200 freestyle (1:47.30) and the 500 freestyle (4:50.31), winning the consolation heat in both races. Dearth placed 15th in the 50 freestyle (23.72) and 16th in the 100 freestyle (52.54).
Adding points for the Tigers in individual events were Travis Gordon (ninth, 56.77) in the 100 backstroke, Noah Scott (12th, 55.60) in the 100 butterfly, and Eric Waite (13th, 58.52) in the 100 backstroke.
Gordon, Jordan Voves, Scott and Maguire were seventh in the 200 medley relay (1:44.43), and Myers, Nussbaum, Scott and Maguire finished seventh in the 400 freestyle relay (3:23.81).
Dearth, Sean Parks, Pat Weston and Myers placed eighth in the 200 freestyle relay (1:33.63).
