Barlow Mountain School Brownie Troop 50840 earned its philanthropy badge in February. The Brownies created and purchased supplies for the nurse’s station to aid their fellow students. The girls paid for the supplies with money earned from their cookies sales. The girls learned that philanthropy provides what is needed and creates community, said a troop spokesman.
