Meghan Joy Leckie and Nicholas DeFoe
Mr. and Mrs. Mark M. Leckie of Williamsburg, Va., formerly of Ridgefield, announce the engagement of their daughter, Meghan Joy, to Mr. Nicholas Lamoureux DeFoe, son of Michele Lamoureux and Daniel DeFoe of Westport.
Ms. Leckie is a graduate of Ridgefield High School and Susquehanna University. Employed in human resources by Nine West, Ms. Leckie is completing graduate work at New York University.
Mr. DeFoe is a graduate of Staples High School in Westport and Susquehanna University. A graduate of Sacred Heart University with a master’s degree in education, Mr. DeFoe is an elementary school teacher in Darien.
A July wedding is planned in Williamsburg, Va.
