Antoinette “Nettie” Wright, 83, longtime Ridgefielder, enjoyed the outdoors

Antoinette “Nettie” Wright, 83, longtime resident of Ridgefield, passed away on February 10th in Naples, Florida.

She was born in Norwalk, CT on May 17, 1929, the daughter of the late Vincenzo and Angelina (Annase) Passafume.

She was a homemaker who enjoyed the outdoors, her flower gardens and nature. Her love of animals was apparent with her cat Snowball and all wildlife. She also enjoyed making jigsaw puzzles, drawing, crafts and making birdhouses. She enjoyed her cross country RV traveling and visiting different states.

She is survived by her husband of 64 years, George Wright Jr. and her three children, Linda and husband Marc Knapp of Bethel, Michael of Ridgefield and Suzanne and husband Ron Ellis of Brookfield. She was predeceased in 1995 by her son George Wright III.

Also surviving her are her sisters Gussie Voeller, Frances Berardi  (Joe) and Josephine Bright of Norwalk, brothers Andrew Passafume  (Lucille) of Norwalk and twin brother Nicholas Passafume of Florida.  She was predeceased by sisters Mary Sachetti, Rose Santo, Anna Yovino, Angelina Jarman, and brother Jim Patchen.

The family will received friends in the Kane Funeral Home, 25 Catoonah St., Ridgefield on Tuesday, February 26, 2013 from 4 PM to 6 PM.
