Updated 3 p.m. — Branchville Road has been reopened.
Monday, 7:45 a.m. — Ridgefield police are closing Route 102, Branchville Road, from Main Street (Route 35) to East Ridge Road by the middle school.
A water main break has created icy conditions along this stretch of state highway.
Both Aquarion, the water company, and the state highway department have been notified.
