Ruth Wolfe Hebb, a former Ridgefielder, died Friday, Jan. 18, of Parkinson’s disease at her home in Beaufort, S.C. She was 71 years old and the wife for 48 years of Walter Mitchell Hebb.
Mrs. Hebb was born on June 4, 1941 in Wolfsville, Maryland. She and her husband had lived in Maryland, New Jersey, Ridgefield, and Illinois before retiring to both Easton and Oxford, Maryland, in 1999, and later to Beaufort.
Survivors include two children, Walter Mitchell Hebb III, of Homer, Alaska, and Kelly Michelle Hebb Campbell of Summerville, S.C., and her son-in-law, Alan Campbell; three grandchildren: Samuel Kell Campbell, James Alan Campbell, and Audrey Wolfe Campbell, all of Summerville.
Services will be Saturday, Jan. 26, at Saint Mark’s Lutheran Church in Myersville, Maryland, with visitation beginning at 10 a.m., followed by a memorial service, interment and a reception beginning at 11 a.m.
