Four unanswered goals in the final two periods carried the Ridgefield High boys hockey team to a 4-1 victory over St. Joseph on Saturday night in Shelton.
It was Ridgefield’s second win in a week over the Cadets, following a 6-5 overtime triumph last Saturday at the Winter Garden.
St. Joseph (6-4) led 1-0 after the first period on Matt Greenhut’s goal. But the Tigers got second-period goals from Chris Morrow and Christian O’Connell to go ahead 2-1 entering the final 15 minutes.
Henry Gough and Callan McCormick added insurance goals in the third period for Ridgefield, which improved to 8-3 with its fifth straight win.
Liam Smith, Jamie Kelly, Alex Rowella, Paul Garlick, Jack Tregurtha and Ian Ball all had assists for the Tigers.
Ridgefield goalie Dusty Rausa made 24 saves.
