Flu shots for kids, adults to be available

The Ridgefield Visiting Nurse Association will receive a shipment of vaccine for an “over 18 years of age” flu clinic today, Friday, Jan. 11, from 3 to 5 p.m. at its offices at 90 East Ridge (the “old high school”).

A shipment of vaccine for “children 4 and up” will be available for a Wednesday Clinic, January 16th, from noon to 6pm.

“Appointments are strongly encouraged for the children’s vaccine,” said Eloise Barron of the RVNA.

Additional clinics will be scheduled with the availability of the vaccine.

“RVNA has a good supply of the high dose vaccine for those over 65 years of age,” Ms. Barron said.

For more information or to make an appointment, call 203-438-5555 Ext 0.

Updates on vaccines will be posted on www.ridgefieldvna.org  and on the RVNA voicemail.
