In the midst of a four-game winning streak, the Ridgefield High boys basketball team has moved up two spots in the latest New Haven Register Top 10 Poll.
The Tigers (4-1) are now ranked eighth in the state with 243 points in the poll, which was released Thursday.
Ridgefield was ranked 10th in last week’s poll.
After starting the season with a loss to St. Joseph, Ridgefield has routed Darien, Wilton, Harding and Weston, winning all four games by 19 or more points.
Hillhouse-New Haven (5-0) is ranked first with 566 points, followed by Windsor (6-0) with 522 points and St. Joseph (6-0) with 488 points. Hillhouse received 17 of 19 first-place votes.
Ridgefield returns to action Friday night with a road game at Greenwich.
