Meredith Keenan scored two goals as the Ridgefield High girls hockey team defeated Hamden, 3-1, in a non-conference game Saturday night at the Winter Garden.
Ridgefield raised its record to 3-2 with the triumph.
The game was tied 1-1 after the first period and through a scoreless second period. The Tigers then scored twoce in the final period to get the victory.
Meghan Galloway had the other goal for Ridgefield.
Anna Marcus contributed two assists and Katie Curnan had one assist.
Ridgefield goalie Heather Ogden stopped 27 of Hamden’s 28 shots on net.
The Tigers were coming off a 6-0 loss to Greenwich Academy in a non-conference game last Wednesday.
