The Wilton-Ridgefiield girls junior varsity and varsity basketball games scheduled for Friday night in Wilton have been postponed.
Officials said the contests were called off due to the mass shootings at an elementary school in Newtown earlier today.
The games will likely be rescheduled for next week.
The Wilton-Ridgefield boys JV and varsity games were also postponed earlier today due to the death of a father whose son plays for the RHS varsity team.
Those contests are also likely to be played next week.
