Second-seed St. Joseph reeled off three unanswered goals in the second half to defeat third-seed Ridgefield in an FCIAC semifinal girls soccer game Tuesday night in Norwalk.
Amanda Berta’s goal early in the second half staked the Tigers to a 1-0 lead, but St. Joseph then went on its three-goal flurry to win the game and earn a share of the FCIAC championship.
Ridgefield, which dropped to 12-3-3 with the loss, will now compete in the Class LL state tournament.
