Mr. Salvo was my favorite art teacher, and I’ve had many! I was severely bullied in high school. Because of Mr. Salvo, I always had a safe classroom to hide in. I remember him looking over my portfolio before I applied for college, and feeling his pride when I was accepted to my first choice school based on that portfolio. His guidance, kindness and emotional support enabled me to survive. I will never forget him!
