Several Ridgefield High teams have had their conference playoff games pushed back after the FCIAC altered its post-season schedule ahead of Hurricane Sandy’s impending arrival.
All events scheduled for Monday and Tuesday have been postponed, with Thursday the new tentative date for play to resume.
The RHS boys soccer, girls soccer and girls volleyball teams, which were originally scheduled to play playoff games Monday, are now scheduled to compete on Thursday. The RHS soccer teams are in the FCIAC semifinals, while the RHS girls volleyball team is in the FCIAC quarterfinals.
The FCIAC girls swimming and diving championships have also been delayed.
