The Boys & Girls Club of Ridgefield will have its 31st Annual Turkey Trot 5K and Kids Fun Run on Thursday, Nov. 22, Thanksgiving Day, beginning at 8 a.m.
The 5K and Kids Fun Run both start at the Boys & Girls Club, located at 41 Governor Street. The half-mile Kids Fun Run starts at 8, and the 5K Turkey Trot begins at 8:30.
Awards are presented to the top male and female runners in each age division, as well to the overall winner.
Runners can register online or in person. The registration fee is $35 until Nov. 17. Registration the week of Nov. 18-22 is $40. The Kids Fun Run is $15 per child. Race-day registration begins at 7 a.m.
Online registration is at www.bgcridgefield.org. Runners can also register in person at the Club Monday through Friday, from 10 to 6:30. For more information, call Gerry Hawaux, office administrator, at 203-438-8821 ext. 16.
