The Boys & Girls Club of Ridgefield has invited community members to attend the 2012 Annual Meeting on Thursday, Oct. 25 at 7 p.m. at which Craig’s Fine Jewelry will be honored.
The meeting provides a review of the prior year’s business and recognizes the club’s successes. Officers and directors will be elected and there will be a vote on amendments to the by-laws.
The club will present its Inaugural Community Business Leadership Award to Craig’s Fine Jewelry for its contributions to the club and in the community. Mike Flynn, director of operations, will be recognized for his 10 year anniversary with Boys & Girls Clubs and his commitment to youth.
The meeting will mark the kick off of the club’s annual fundraising campaign, Campaign for Youth, whose goal is $120,000. Each year the Boys & Girls Club of Ridgefield raises nearly $300,000 from special events, grants and individual contributions.
Refreshments will begin at 7 p.m. and the business meeting will begin at 7:30 p.m. This meeting is free and open to the public.
